Discreet nasal strips for work and travel

You can want easier nasal breathing without wanting your nasal strip to be the first thing people notice. Discreet nasal strips bring appearance into the decision: the shade, the fabric finish and how the product sits on your face all matter.
TONE is designed for that balance. Its three skin-inspired tones offer an alternative to a high-contrast look, with the same gentle external support across the range. Here is how to plan for workdays and trips without turning a simple product into another complicated routine.
Choose the shade you like in daylight
Compare Ivory, Honey and Cacao near the centre of your face in natural light. Look at both the colour and the contrast around the edges. A shade that looks close under a warm bathroom lamp may appear different beside an office window.
Discreet does not mean invisible. Lighting, skin undertones, texture and camera settings can all change the appearance. Three tones cannot promise a perfect match for every person, and you may prefer a shade because you like how it looks rather than because it disappears completely.
If you spend time on video calls, check the result in your usual setup after comparing it in daylight. That is a styling check, not a reason to move the strip away from its correct position. Our shade-selection guide walks through the comparison.

Apply before the day gets busy
Use a mirror and give yourself a moment to get the placement right. Wash and completely dry the contact area. Apply the strip as directed, across the nose just above the nostril flare, and press the centre and ends firmly.
The 66 × 19 mm shape is designed to follow the nose; do not stretch it across the cheeks. Keep the tip and nostrils clear. Skincare and makeup beneath the adhesive can interfere with contact, so plan the order of your routine instead of trying to secure a strip over a finished base.
Try the product in a familiar setting before relying on it during a long meeting or journey. You can then learn how the application, feel and removal fit your preferences. A first use immediately before boarding leaves less room to adjust your routine.
Pack for the uses you actually plan
Each TONE pouch contains 30 single-use strips. For a trip, count the occasions when you expect to use one and take fresh strips accordingly. A daytime use and a separate nighttime use are two strips, not one strip to remove and reapply.
Keep unused strips protected in their pouch with the backing in place. Choose a clean, dry place in your bag and follow the storage instructions on the packaging. Avoid carrying loose adhesive strips between toiletries or beside items that could bend or soil them.
Make removal practical, too. Access to warm water and a few unhurried moments is more useful than trying to pull a strip off quickly in a queue. The gentle removal guide is worth reading before you travel.

Know what a strip does not change
A strip supports the sides of the nose externally. It does not filter workplace air, protect you from infection or treat the cause of persistent congestion. It is not a replacement for required protective equipment or prescribed treatment.
Changes in temperature or humidity, smoke and perfume can trigger nasal symptoms in some people. The NHS recommends seeking advice when symptoms worsen, affect everyday life or have an unclear cause. A strip should not become a reason to overlook those concerns. Read the NHS guidance on non-allergic rhinitis.
TONE can be part of a daytime routine as well as a bedtime one. Follow the wear duration and safety directions on your pouch. If your skin becomes uncomfortable or irritated, remove the strip gently and stop using it.
Everyday questions
Can I put makeup over the strip?
TONE's shade and fabric finish are designed to stand on their own. We have not confirmed compatibility with makeup applied over it. Keep the adhesive contact area clean and dry and follow the pack directions.
Will the same shade work in every setting?
It may look different in daylight, artificial light and photographs. Choose the appearance you prefer; no screen-based comparison can guarantee an exact skin match.
Can I save a partly worn strip for the flight home?
No. Every strip is single-use. Remove and discard it after wear, and use a fresh strip when you next need one.
